Before Sunset is a vibrant, modern interpretation of a Berliner Weisse, eschewing traditional austerity for a lush, tropical intensity. This heavily fruited kettle sour pours with a charming haze, immediately releasing a powerful fruit salad aroma. Ripe Mango leads the profile, while succulent Strawberry adds a sweet, red-berry depth against a backdrop of zippy citrus and soft, doughy wheat malts. On the palate, the Mango dominates, providing a fleshy sweetness that is perfectly countered by a sharp, clean lactic acidity and a hint of lemon character. The light malt body allows for a remarkably crisp, zippy finish, ensuring high drinkability and refreshing balance.
Appearance. Pours a hazy, pale golden-orange with soft pinkish highlights from the fruit; features a dense, white head with moderate to low retention and high effervescence.
