Appearance. Pale straw-colored (around 3 SRM) with a surprisingly clear clarity, departing from traditional starch haze. It is crowned by a dense, white, mousse-like head that exhibits good retention, leaving light lacing on the glass.
Aroma. Moderate-low intensity aroma, featuring light, bready and sweet doughy wheat malt. Mild zesty citrus notes of sweet orange blend smoothly with a low, clean, herbal and floral hop aroma derived from German hops. Fermentation characteristics are very clean, with only a subtle hint of spicy yeast esters and none of the heavy coriander punch of typical examples.
Taste. Begins with a gentle, sweet, and bready malt impression. Mild, citrusy fruitiness and a delicate touch of herbal German hop flavor emerge in the mid-palate. Hop bitterness is very low (around 10-15 IBUs), serving purely to balance the soft, grainy sweetness. It finishes clean and moderately dry, with a refreshing and gentle, non-lingering aftertaste devoid of any harshness.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light in body with a smooth, slightly creamy texture. Carbonation is moderate to high, contributing to its refreshing and effervescent nature. Perceived alcohol warmth is nonexistent at 4.5% ABV, and there is no astringency or harshness.
