Founded in 1995, The Wolf Brewery is situated in the heart of Norfolk and continues to go from strength to strength.  They pride themselves on producing high quality, real ales brewed with the finest local ingredients. The Edith Cavell Ale is a hoppy, thirst quenching beer with a fruity currant finish. The Edith Cavell Ale has been created to mark the 100th anniversary this year since her death and forms part of the Edith Cavell Centenary Appeal. Both Beers of Europe and Wolf Brewery will be donating 5p from the sale of each bottle to support the work of Cavell Nurses Trust. Edith Cavell was a WW1 nurse who cared for wounded soldiers from both sides of the conflict whilst working in a Belgian hospital and saved the lives of British soldiers, ensuring they reached neutral Holland. However, once the occupying Germans were tipped off, they arrest and executed her for treason in 1915.
