Ramble On is a vibrant American IPA that highlights a sophisticated hop profile sourced from Yakima Chief. The sensory experience is led by the experimental HBC 638, delivering a lush medley of ripe mango, pineapple, and sweet melon, layered with nuances of red cherry and strawberry. The addition of Cryo Pop B intensifies the berry presence, while Cashmere provides a distinct wave of tropical fruit. Beneath the intense fruit-forward hops, a lean, grainy malt base provides clean support. It finishes with a firm, crisp bitterness and a refreshing, dry snap, embodying a modern and incredibly fruit-centric expression of the style.
Appearance. Medium gold color (approximately 7 SRM) with a slight, hop-derived haze. Features a medium-sized, white, persistent head that leaves light lacing on the glass.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring a complex blend of mango, pineapple, and melon. Prominent berry notes and a hint of strawberry are present, supported by a low, clean, grainy malt background and a neutral fermentation profile.
Taste. Immediate hop-forward impression dominated by tropical fruit and melon. The HBC 638 and Cashmere hops provide layers of pineapple and cherry, balanced by a medium-high hop bitterness. Low, crackery malt flavor supports the hop intensity without adding significant sweetness. The finish is dry and clean with a lingering fruity and slightly resinous aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, well-rounded texture. Carbonation is medium-high, providing a refreshing crispness. Very light, smooth alcohol warmth is present with no hop-derived astringency.
