Wiper And True's Purple Rain is a striking Wild Specialty Beer that prioritizes intense fruit expression and vibrant acidity. Pouring a vivid, deep purple with a soft pink head, it immediately releases a high-intensity aroma of fresh, earthy blackcurrants coupled with a sharp, lemony lactic tartness. The palate is dominated by the bold, jammy character of the fruit, supported by a clean, crackery malt base. A brisk, refreshing acidity defines the experience, leading to a bone-dry, mouth-watering finish. This is a sensory-forward sour that masterfully balances the tannic depth of blackcurrants with a bright, wild fermentation profile.
