It opens with a vibrant aromatic profile of resinous pine and bright citrus, supported by a clean, neutral malt base that remains firmly in the background. At 8% ABV, the alcohol is expertly integrated, providing a smooth, refined warmth that avoids any solventy harshness. The palate is dominated by a firm, high bitterness that carries layers of tropical fruit and floral notes. This Double IPA finishes decisively dry and crisp, leaving a lingering, clean hop character that highlights the aggressive yet balanced nature of the style.
Appearance. Gold to light orange-copper (SRM 7-9); moderate-sized, persistent off-white head with good lacing; clear with a very slight, acceptable haze.
