Willibald Farm Brewery Super is an exceptionally refreshing American Light Lager that elevates the style through the use of high-quality ingredients. Brewed with 100% Pils malt, it offers a delicate grainy sweetness that serves as a foundation for the subtle, refined aromatics of German hops. The natural carbonation provides a lively, effervescent mouthfeel that enhances its crisp, dry finish. Being unfined and unfiltered, it retains a soft texture and a hint of rustic character while remaining incredibly approachable. This lager balances a clean fermentation profile with just enough hop-derived floral and spicy notes to provide interest without sacrificing its high drinkability.
Appearance. Very pale straw (2–3 SRM). White, frothy head with moderate persistence. Unlike many in its class, this unfiltered and unfined lager exhibits a slight haze rather than brilliant clarity.
Aroma. Low intensity with a clean, pleasant grainy-sweet aroma from the Pils malt. Very light spicy and floral hop notes from the German hops are present. Clean fermentation with no significant esters or phenols.
Taste. Initial impression is crisp and neutral. Moderate-low grainy malt flavor leads into a very low bitterness. Floral and herbal hop flavors are subtle but detectable. Finishes very dry and clean with a short, refreshing aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Light body with a crisp, refreshing texture. High carbonation from natural conditioning provides a notable carbonic bite. Alcohol presence is negligible, resulting in a smooth, easy-drinking experience.
