This Fruited Gose presents a vibrant, tropical-forward profile driven by lush additions of Mango, Peach, and Apricot. The sensory experience opens with a burst of stone fruit nectar, layered over a base of Pilsner and wheat malt that provides a soft, doughy foundation. A delicate lactic acidity provides a tart counterpoint to the ripe fruit sweetness, while a subtle thread of sea salt enhances the mouthfeel and brightens the palate. The presence of coriander adds a faint citrusy lift, rounding out this highly refreshing, effervescent ale. It finishes crisp and dry, with a lingering tang of sun-ripened fruit and a clean, mineral finish.
Appearance. 4–6 SRM. Deep yellow to light orange. Moderate white head with tight bubbles and fair retention. Significant haze from wheat proteins and fruit solids.
Aroma. High intensity. Dominant aromatics of ripe mango, fuzzy peach, and apricot nectar. Underlying doughy, bready malt. Light lactic tartness and a faint citrus-floral note from coriander. Minimal clean sea salt character. No hop aroma.
Taste. Initial tartness driven by lactic acidity and stone fruit. Moderate bready malt flavor. The Mango, Peach, and Apricot provide a juicy, complex fruit profile. Very low bitterness. A light salt character is noticeable but restrained, offering a savory balance. Finishes dry and crisp with acidity balancing the fruit sugars. No hop flavor.
Mouthfeel. Medium body, slightly fuller than typical for the style due to fruit additions. High carbonation; effervescent. Low alcohol warmth. Slight mineral tingle and mouthwatering quality from salt.
