Williams Brothers Brewing Co. Alba 30th Anniversary - 2022 Expression

Spruce and pine Viking ale, brewed in 2011 to an imperial strength, specifically to be wood aged in Scottish Whisky Casks from the Isle of Islay’s finest distilleries.

Each year a limited number of barrels are specifically selected and blended to create a unique expression. Each of the barrels bring their own natural yeast & microbes to the mix adding some acidity, sherry and complexity.

Mahogany  brown in the glass with Alba’s classic character of spruce, resin & malt is married with peat & oak while maturing in single malt Islay casks.

Unfiltered and un-fined to maintain it's full character. Will pour hazy. 750ml 11% abv Ingredients: Water, Barley, Wheat, Pine, Spruce, Hops, Yeast
