Levity is a refined International Pale Lager that elevates the style through a traditional single decoction and the use of long grain rice. The aroma is defined by the Saphir and Hallertauer Tradition hops, offering a delicate bouquet of spring flowers, lemongrass, and a curious whisper of strawberry. On the palate, the decoction provides a clean, cracker-like malt structure that remains lean and crisp. This collaboration with Sojourn Fermentory finishes exceptionally dry and refreshing, balancing a subtle herbal bitterness with a bright, effervescent mouthfeel that makes it incredibly easy to drink.
Appearance. Pours a brilliant pale straw with excellent clarity. It is topped by a bright white, frothy head that displays moderate retention and leaves light lacing on the glass.
Aroma. Moderate aroma intensity characterized by clean, grainy-malty notes and a distinct floral hop presence. The Saphir hops contribute nuances of lemongrass and a hint of wild strawberry, while the Hallertauer Tradition adds a classic herbal spice. Fermentation is impeccably clean with no esters or diacetyl.
Taste. The initial impression is crisp and highly refreshing. Light grainy-malt flavors from the rice and decoction suggest fresh white bread and crackers.
