NEIPA - New England IPA 5.8 º
This Hazy IPA offers an expressive sensory profile driven by a double dry-hopping of Azacca and Mosaic. The bouquet is intensely aromatic, leading with vibrant notes of ripe pineapple and succulent peaches, complemented by a sharp grapefruit citrus edge. While the hop character is dominant, a robust malty backbone provides a supportive grainy and bready foundation that balances the fruit-forward profile. On the palate, the experience is soft and lush, mirroring the aromatic tropical fruit notes with a restrained, smooth bitterness. The finish is clean and off-dry, leaving a lingering impression of tropical juice and bright citrus zest.
Appearance. Straw to light amber color with a distinct orange hue; hazy and nearly opaque with a soft matte shine. It supports a medium-sized, rocky, meringue-like white head with high retention and delicate lacing.
Aroma. High intensity aroma defined by tropical and stone fruits. Specific notes of pineapple and peach are prominent alongside a bright grapefruit citrus character. A low, grainy-sweet malt presence sits in the background, with a clean fermentation profile and no detectable DMS or diacetyl.
Taste. High fruity hop flavor featuring bold pineapple and peach. Perceived bitterness is low to medium and masked by a soft mouthfeel. The Mosaic hops provide a citrusy grapefruit finish that is supported by a robust, bready malt backbone. The aftertaste is smooth and fruity, lacking any sharp or harsh hop edges.
Mouthfeel. Medium body with a soft, pillowy texture and moderate carbonation. No harshness or astringency is present. At 5.8% ABV, there is a very light, well-integrated alcohol warmth and a smooth, non-viscous finish.

At Wild Card, we champion inclusivity and equality in everything we do - they are the key foundations our brewery is built on. For us, International Women's Day is a day of recognition, one for celebrating the significant contributions women have made to the industry.
The series contains three beers, all pale, hazy, hoppy and falling within the 4-6% range. To devise a visual language for this concept, we called upon one of our favourite illustrators, Anna Borup, to produce drawings which would celebrate the female brewers challenging the stereotypes of a male-dominated industry.
