It presents a lively, effervescent character typical of Hudson Valley biodynamic ferments, leaning into a bone-dry, vinous profile. The sensory journey is defined by its bright acidity and a complex fruit-skin tannin presence that keeps the palate refreshed. It is an elegant expression where the fruit is the protagonist, supported by a clean, wild fermentation and crisp, bubbly texture.
Appearance. Deep rose to light violet in color; features a vigorous, fast-rising mousse of white foam that dissipates quickly, leaving light lacing and a slight haze typical of natural ferments.
Aroma. High intensity aromatics of fresh-crushed grapes; floral Traminette dominates initially with rose and lychee, followed by earthy blackberry notes from Teroldego and a subtle peppery spice from Cabernet Franc.
Taste. Initial tartness led by grape acidity; flavors of dark berries and citrus zest transition into a lean, vinous middle. Bitterness is negligible, replaced by a slight, pleasant grape-skin tannin. Finishes bone-dry and crisp with a clean aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Light-bodied and highly effervescent with a prickly carbonation that scrubs the palate; low alcohol warmth and a clean, refreshing astringency without being harsh.

Made with skins of Chardonnay and Riesling grapes. Dry and light, alluring aromatics of white flowers, russet pears and stone fruit. Sorta like an ‘Orange Wine Lite’ experience. Wild yeasts, no filtering or fining, very low additions of sulfites being the only thing added. The winemaker’s favorite release of piquette so far.
