Twin Comet 2023 is a vibrant Double IPA that amplifies the tropical intensity of its predecessor through a heavy dry hop of Galaxy. This specific hop variety delivers explosive sensory cues of ripe peach and juicy mango that dominate the profile. The overall character is defined by these saturated stone fruit and tropical notes, supported by a soft, pillowy malt backbone that reflects its New England inspiration. Appearance. Pours a deep straw to light gold (7 SRM) with a significant, opaque haze. It is topped by a dense, persistent, off-white head that leaves thick, soapy lacing on the glass.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent notes of mango, peach, and passion fruit. A low, neutral grainy malt sweetness provides a supportive background, while the fermentation profile remains clean with minimal yeast-derived esters beyond the intense hop character.

Taste. The initial impression is an explosion of peach and mango hop flavors. Bitterness is firm and assertive but smooth, avoiding any hop-derived harshness. A low, soft, bready malt character supports the high hop load through the mid-palate. The finish is medium-dry with a lingering tropical fruit aftertaste and a clean, smooth alcohol presence.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a notably creamy and soft texture. Carbonation is moderate, and there is a restrained, smooth alcohol warmth consistent with its strength. No hop-derived astringency is present.
