An intense aromatic burst of tropical fruit and resinous pine transitions into a palate defined by a juicy blast of mango and stone fruit. Despite its hazy, thick appearance and creamy texture, it maintains the strength and drinkability of the style. The Michigan Chinook provides a subtle evergreen backbone that balances the lush, sun-ripened fruit notes of the Mosaic and Azacca. It finishes with a clean, supportive malt presence and a smooth, well-integrated alcohol warmth typical of its 7.8% ABV.
Appearance. Deep gold to light orange (8-11 SRM). Opaque and hazy with a thick, persistent, off-white creamy head that leaves dense lacing.
Aroma. High intensity. Prominent tropical fruit notes of mango, pineapple, and passionfruit from Mosaic and Azacca, supported by a distinct resinous, piney, and grapefruit zest character from Michigan Chinook. Background malt is neutral and grainy. Very low fermentation esters.
Taste. Initial impression is a saturated, juicy explosion of mango and citrus. Mid-palate reveals hop-derived flavors of berry and pine. Bitterness is firm but smooth, balancing the soft malt sweetness. The finish is medium-dry with a lingering tropical hop aftertaste and no harshness.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, creamy, and pillowy texture. Moderate carbonation. Provides a gentle, smooth alcohol warmth without being solventy or hot.
