This Hazy IPA showcases a soft, opaque presence driven by a complex grist of 2-row, Golden Promise, and a significant addition of both raw and malted white wheat and malted oats. The sensory profile is dominated by a pungent hop bouquet featuring Citra, Simcoe, and Amarillo, which harmonize with expressive yeast esters to deliver intense aromas of ripe peach and juicy mango. On the palate, the experience shifts toward vibrant notes of pineapple candies and zesty tangerine, finishing with a subtle hint of exotic passionfruit. The mouthfeel is exceptionally smooth and pillowy, typical of the New England style, offering a lush, fruit-forward profile with restrained bitterness.
Appearance. Straw to light gold (4-6 SRM) with a luminous, opaque haze. Topped by a dense, meringue-like white head with excellent retention and thick, sculpted lacing.
Aroma. High-intensity hop aroma featuring pungent stone fruit and tropical notes. Dominant aromas of ripe peach and mango are supported by bright citrus and a light piney undertone. Malt is low and bready, with a soft wheat-like sweetness and clean fermentation esters.
Taste. High fruity hop flavor of sweet pineapple candies and fresh tangerine, followed by a light passionfruit tang in the mid-palate. Low to medium-low bready malt flavor provides a supportive base. Perceived bitterness is low to moderate and smooth, leading to an off-dry, juicy finish without any harshness.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full, pillowy body with a creamy texture from the malted oats and wheat. Carbonation is moderate, contributing to a soft mouthfeel. Alcohol warmth is light and well-integrated at 6.7% ABV, with no detectable astringency.

HIDDEN MURALS is a New England IPA clocking in at 6.7% and is a reminder to enjoy all those things in life that make you happy even if they are now a bit hidden from view. This beer was brewed with a grist of 2 row, golden promise, both raw and malted white wheat and malted oats. We used some of our favorite American hops on both the brew day and in the dry hop, Citra, Simcoe, and Amarillo. We fermented this with a blend of two expressive yeasts we have wanted to try for a bit, the combination of the hops and yeast makes for a pungent experience, specifically aromas of peach and mango. We’re getting tasting notes of pineapple candies, tangerine and a hint of passionfruit.
