Doom And Gloom is a vibrant Hazy IPA that exemplifies the juicy, soft-textured intent of the style. Dominated by a heavy dry-hop regimen of Citra, Mosaic, and Columbus, the sensory experience is led by punchy aromas of fresh-squeezed orange juice and ripe tropical fruit. A subtle layer of dank resin from the Columbus provides a grounding contrast to the bright citrus notes. At 6% ABV, the beer offers an approachable, medium-full body with a silky mouthfeel typical of New England examples. The finish is smooth and low in bitterness, allowing the complex hop oils to linger with a clean, fruit-forward persistence.

Appearance. Straw to light amber (SRM 4-6) with a significant, opaque haze that gives the beer a luminous shine. It is topped by a dense, white, meringue-like head with excellent retention and thick lacing.

Aroma. High-intensity hop aroma featuring dominant notes of orange juice, mango, and papaya. A background of resinous pine and dank earthiness is present, supported by a low, neutral, grainy malt character and subtle fruity esters.

Taste. The palate is led by a high explosion of tropical fruit and citrus flavors, mirroring the orange and mango notes of the aroma. Malt flavor is low and bready, providing a soft foundation for the hops. Perceived bitterness is low to moderate, masked by the soft water profile and full body, leading to a smooth, off-dry finish without any hop harshness or astringency.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, silky, and rounded texture. Carbonation is moderate. There is a very light, well-integrated alcohol warmth and an absence of any mouth-drying astringency.
