This collaboration between WhiteFrontier and Outer Range delivers an explosive American IPA experience inspired by the French and Valais Alps. Transalpin presents a brilliant, mountain-clear golden appearance, staying true to its West Coast roots. The sensory profile is dominated by high-intensity hop aromas of resinous pine and bright citrus zest, supported by a lean, grainy malt backbone that allows the assertive bitterness to remain sharp and focused. At 7.1% ABV, it carries a well-integrated warmth that complements its dry, crisp finish. It captures the rugged elegance of the mountains with a modern, hop-forward intensity that lingers cleanly on the palate.

Appearance. Brilliant clarity with a deep golden to pale amber color (7-9 SRM). Pours with a persistent, fine-beaded white head that leaves significant lacing on the glass.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring pronounced notes of resinous pine, grapefruit zest, and a subtle floral top note. Low grainy malt sweetness provides a clean background with very low fermentation esters and no significant caramel character.

Taste. Assertive, high hop bitterness defines the initial impression. Flavors of citrus peel and resinous pine dominate, supported by a low, cracker-like malt presence. Fermentation is exceptionally clean, leading into a decidedly dry, crisp finish with a lingering, clean hoppy aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, non-astringent texture. Moderate to high carbonation provides a refreshing bite, accompanied by a gentle, smooth alcohol warmth that is well-integrated for its strength.
