This collaborative Hazy IPA offers a lush sensory experience centered on an expressive Southern Hemisphere hop profile. The combination of Vic Secret and Nectaron hops creates a vibrant bouquet of tropical and stone fruits. Expect an explosion of ripe peach, passionfruit, and pineapple, underscored by a clean, bready malt base. The appearance is characteristically opaque with a luminous golden-yellow hue. On the palate, the hop intensity is high but soft, delivering juicy flavors of nectarine and pink grapefruit with a restrained, smooth bitterness. A medium-full, velvety mouthfeel carries the fruit forward into a clean, slightly sweet finish that emphasizes drinkability.
Appearance. Color is a hazy golden-yellow (SRM 4-6) with a characteristic opaque shine. Features a thick, rocky, meringue-like white head with high retention and persistent lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop-forward aroma featuring tropical passionfruit and pineapple from Vic Secret, layered with intense peach and nectarine notes from Nectaron. Background malt is neutral, grainy, and lightly bready with a clean fermentation profile.
Taste. Initial impression is an explosion of fruity hop flavor, echoing the peach, stone fruit, and pineapple found in the aroma. Low to medium-low perceived bitterness that is masked by the malt. Malt flavor is low and grainy. The finish is off-dry and smooth, with a lingering, soft tropical aftertaste and no harshness.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a smooth, soft, and somewhat creamy texture. Moderate carbonation with no astringency or hop burn. Very light, well-integrated alcohol warmth.
