This extreme Eisbock presents a decadent, nectar-like intensity, amplified by the addition of floral Acacia honey and a massive concentration process. It pours with an oily viscosity, releasing aromas of deep toasted malt, caramelized sugar, and a bouquet of dark plums and grapes. The spirit-like strength is immediately apparent but smoothed by the delicate sweetness of the honey, which weaves through layers of rich bread crust and faint chocolate. Each sip is profoundly warming, offering a silky texture that balances the concentrated Maillard characters with a lingering, honey-kissed finish of exceptional depth and complexity.

Appearance. Deep mahogany with brilliant ruby highlights and excellent clarity. Head retention is poor to non-existent due to the extreme alcohol content, though thick, oily legs are prominent upon swirling.

Aroma. High intensity; dominated by rich, bready malt and distinct floral Acacia honey. A significant but clean alcohol presence carries notes of dark fruit—specifically plum and raisin—alongside toasty caramel and a whisper of dark chocolate. No hop aroma is present.

Taste. Initial impression is a massive wave of honey sweetness and rich, chewy malt. Flavors of toasted bread, deep caramel, and concentrated dark fruit are prominent. The Acacia honey provides a unique floral lift and additional layers of sugar. Hop bitterness is low, providing just enough structure to prevent a cloying character, while the clean, spirit-like alcohol provides a drying, warming counterpoint to the massive malt body. No hop flavor.

Mouthfeel. Very full-bodied and viscous, bordering on syrupy. Carbonation is very low. Alcohol warmth is intense and persistent but remains smooth and integrated rather than harsh or solventy. Extremely silky texture.
