Desire Lines presents a saturated sensory experience typical of a Hazy IPA. The grist, featuring Maris Otter, Oat Malt, Wheat Malt, and Rye Malt, builds a dense, bready foundation with a subtle, supportive rye spice. This complex grain bill anchors a massive hop profile driven by Azacca, Galaxy, and Motueka. Expect a tropical explosion of mango and passionfruit from the Galaxy and Azacca, while Motueka provides a distinctive lime zest and mojito-like citrus lift. The result is a lush, juicy profile that balances a soft, pillowy texture with a bright, multifaceted fruit character that lingers long into the clean, low-bitterness finish.

Appearance. Straw to deep gold (4–6 SRM) with a dense, opaque haze providing a vibrant, healthy shine. Topped by a thick, white, meringue-like head with excellent retention and significant lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma dominated by tropical notes of ripe mango, passionfruit, and crushed pineapple from Galaxy and Azacca. Secondary aromas of fresh lime and lemon zest from Motueka are prominent. The malt background is lightly bready and grainy, reflecting the Maris Otter and wheat base, without any caramel or toast character.

Taste. A wave of juicy tropical fruit—peach, mango, and papaya—leads the palate, followed by a bright citrus snap of lime. The Maris Otter provides a rich, bready sweetness, while the Rye Malt adds a faint, balancing earthiness. Perceived bitterness is low to moderate and smooth, never harsh. The finish is off-dry, clean, and dominated by lingering fruit esters.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, creamy, and pillowy texture derived from the heavy use of Oat Malt and Wheat Malt. Carbonation is moderate. A light, well-integrated alcohol warmth is present, without any harshness or astringency.
