Westerham’s Ein Brau is a refined take on the traditional Kölsch style, presenting a delicate equilibrium between its heritage-driven ingredients and a clean, lager-like finish. The use of Extra Pale malt and wheat creates a soft, grainy-sweet foundation with a hint of bready depth. Tettnang hops provide a sophisticated aromatic layer of mild spice and floral herbs that punctuate the subtle fruit esters of pear and apple. This top-fermented, cold-conditioned ale offers a remarkably crisp experience, balancing a gentle bitterness with a rounded, well-attenuated palate that remains refreshing and focused on drinkability.
Appearance. Luminous light gold to medium yellow with brilliant clarity. Topped with a delicate, fine-beaded white head that displays moderate persistence.
