Westbrook’s White Thai reimagines the traditional Witbier through a Southeast-Asian lens, swapping classic coriander and orange peel for fresh ginger and lemongrass. This pale straw ale presents a signature milky haze and a dense, white moussy head. The aroma is a vibrant blend of bready unmalted wheat and a bright, citrusy perfume driven by the lemongrass, punctuated by a delicate, peppery ginger snap. On the palate, the ginger provides a refreshing zest that complements the lemony profile, all supported by a smooth, medium-light body. High carbonation enhances its effervescent, thirst-quenching nature, culminating in a crisp, dry finish.

Appearance. Pale straw (2–3 SRM) with a very cloudy, milky appearance due to starch haze. Features a dense, white, moussy head with excellent retention and light lacing.

Aroma. Moderate intensity with a bready, grainy wheat malt character and light honey notes. Pronounced citrusy-lemony aromatics from lemongrass blend with a light, peppery ginger spice and subtle fruity esters. No detectable hop aroma.

Taste. Initial bready, grainy malt flavor followed by zesty lemongrass and a mild, clean ginger spice. Low hop bitterness (approx. 15 IBU) supports a refreshingly crisp and dry finish. No harshness or bitter aftertaste; the spice and citrus elements remain balanced and subtle.
