The aroma is intensely aromatic, leading into a soft, velvety palate where the hop-derived fruitiness takes center stage against a neutral, bready malt background. Designed for high drinkability despite its 7% ABV, this beer balances a moderate bitterness with a smooth, off-dry finish, exemplifying the juicy character and opaque shine typical of the style.
Appearance. Pours a hazy, pale gold with a luminous orange hue and a characteristic opaque shine. It is topped by a thick, rocky, white meringue-like head with high retention and consistent lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop-forward aroma featuring prominent notes of ripe peach, passionfruit, and zesty citrus. An underlying bready and grainy malt character provides a subtle foundation, while fermentation esters are fruity and well-integrated with the Citra, Galaxy, and Simcoe hop profile.
Taste. Initial impression is a wave of tropical fruit, with dominant flavors of passionfruit, peach, and orange zest. Malt flavor is low and lightly bready, supporting the hop expression without any caramel or toast. Bitterness is moderate but perceived as smooth and soft, lacking any harshness.
