This flagship American IPA captures the quintessential essence of the West Coast style through a vibrant hop profile. Led by a potent blend of Citra, Mosaic, and Simcoe, the sensory experience begins with striking grapefruit and orange citrus notes. The aromatic complexity deepens with tropical layers of mango, passionfruit, and sweet cantaloupe, while a distinct woody and resinous undertone provides a grounded, traditional structure. The palate is defined by its clean, supporting malt backbone and a firm, refreshing bitterness that lingers long into the finish. It is a crisp and evocative beer, balancing intense fruitiness with a dry, resinous, and satisfyingly bitter character.
Appearance. Medium gold to light amber (7-8 SRM). Brilliant clarity with a thick, white, persistent head that leaves intricate lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent grapefruit, orange zest, and tropical mango. A distinct woody and piney resin character supports the fruit, with a low, clean, grainy-sweet malt background and a neutral fermentation profile.
Taste. High hop flavor mirroring the aroma with notes of citrus peel, passionfruit, and cantaloupe. Low grainy maltiness provides a platform for the medium-high bitterness. The finish is dry and crisp with a lingering, clean, hoppy aftertaste and no harshness.
Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, slightly oily texture. Carbonation is medium-high, providing a lively mouthfeel. Includes a very light, smooth alcohol warmth consistent with its strength.
