This elevated American IPA showcases a refined hop intensity driven by the concentrated CRYO additions of Citra, Mosaic, and Simcoe. A vibrant sensory experience opens with punchy grapefruit and tangerine, transitioning into lush tropical layers of passion fruit and sweet melon. The aromatic profile is further enriched by delicate orange blossom and a classic resinous backbone of pine and woody dankness. Built on a clean, unobtrusive malt base, the palate remains remarkably dry and crisp. It strikes a sophisticated balance between bright fruit sweetness and a firm, refreshing bitterness, finishing with a lingering, floral clarity that defines the modern West Coast style.
Appearance. Medium gold (approx. 7 SRM) with brilliant clarity. Pours with a medium-sized, bright white head that shows excellent persistence and leaves intricate lacing on the glass.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent notes of grapefruit, tangerine, and passion fruit. Secondary notes of melon, orange blossom, and a resinous, woody pine character. Malt is low and clean, providing a faint grainy background with a neutral fermentation profile.
Taste. Leading with high-intensity hop flavors of citrus zest and ripe melon. The malt provides a low, clean, grainy-sweet support that quickly gives way to a firm bitterness. The fermentation is very clean, allowing floral and dank hop nuances to dominate. The finish is notably dry and crisp with a lingering, hoppy aftertaste that avoids harshness.
Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, crisp texture. Carbonation is medium-high, providing a refreshing bite. Features a very light, well-integrated alcohol warmth consistent with its strength.
