This contemporary interpretation of a German Pils delivers a vibrant and hop-forward experience, elevated by a rotating dry-hopping schedule that ensures an aromatic profile far beyond traditional examples. The beer presents a brilliant, pale gold appearance with a dense, persistent white head. On the nose, intense floral, spicy, and herbal hop notes dominate, supported by a clean, grainy, and doughy Pilsner malt foundation. The palate is defined by a sharp, assertive bitterness that cuts through the light cracker-like malt flavors, leading to a bone-dry and incredibly crisp finish. Its clean fermentation and flinty mineral character make for a refreshing, high-impact lager.
Appearance. Straw to brilliant yellow (2–4 SRM). Exceptional clarity with a creamy, long-lasting, and dense white head that provides excellent lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop character, featuring assertive flowery, herbal, and spicy notes from dry-hopping. Complemented by a medium-low grainy-sweet and doughy malt profile. Clean fermentation with no esters.
Taste. Initial doughy and toasted cracker malt flavors are rapidly superseded by a medium-high hop bitterness. Hop flavors are prominent, echoing the herbal and spicy aromatics. The balance is decidedly bitter and hop-centric, concluding in a very dry, crisp finish with a lingering, clean aftertaste.
