This formidable Double IPA delivers an unapologetic assault of resinous and tropical hop character, living up to its name with a punishing yet clean bitterness. Pouring a clear, deep gold, it radiates intense aromas of grapefruit zest, pine needles, and crushed pineapple. The 9.7% ABV provides a structural warmth that supports a lean, grainy malt base, ensuring the focus remains entirely on the rotating late-hop additions designed to wreak havoc on the palate. The mouthfeel is met with an aggressive, sharp bitterness that slices through a medium body, finishing bone-dry with a long, lingering trail of citrus oils and pith.
Appearance. Gold to light orange-copper with brilliant clarity. Features a moderate-sized, persistent, off-white head with excellent lacing.
