This sessionable American Pale Ale showcases a modern, unfined approach, delivering a super soft and juicy profile. Dominated by the saturated presence of Centennial hops, the sensory experience is defined by bright aromas of floral lemon zest and earthy pine. The cask-conditioned nature provides a velvety texture that cushions the moderate hop bitterness. Pale malts provide a light, bready foundation that never distracts from the vibrant, resinous hop character. It finishes clean and refreshing, balancing traditional British cask softness with bold, New World citrus intensity for an effortlessly drinkable and highly aromatic experience.
Appearance. Pale gold (6 SRM). Features a thick, creamy white head from the cask dispense with excellent retention and lacing. Hazy to opaque appearance due to being unfined.
Aroma. Moderate to high intensity. Prominent floral and citrus notes of lemon peel and grapefruit driven by Centennial hops, backed by a subtle resinous pine. Low grainy, crackery malt sweetness with very low fruity yeast esters.
Taste. Bright and juicy initial impression. Prominent Centennial hop flavors of lemon and floral herbs. Moderate bitterness is well-integrated against a supportive, light biscuit malt character. Finish is dry and clean with a lightly lingering hop resin aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body. Low to moderate carbonation characteristic of cask conditioning, providing a smooth, creamy, and soft texture. No alcohol warmth. Very low astringency.
