Distant Peak is a vibrant Hazy IPA that captures the essence of a modern tropical profile. Driven by a heavy dry-hop of Citra and Mosaic, the beer radiates with intense aromas of ripe mango, passionfruit, and a distinct blueberry note. The larger malt base provides a supportive, bready backbone that anchors the high-intensity fruitiness without overshadowing it. On the palate, the mouthfeel is remarkably smooth and full, characteristic of the style's juicy intent. The finish remains soft and approachable, with restrained bitterness that allows the citrus-forward hop oils to linger alongside a clean, ester-driven fermentation profile.

Appearance. Pale gold to light amber (approx. 5 SRM) with a dense, opaque haze and a shimmering quality. It supports a thick, persistent, meringue-like white head with excellent retention and lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring vivid notes of tropical fruit, citrus, and subtle stone fruit. The Citra and Mosaic contributions offer layers of grapefruit and pineapple with a hint of resin. Background malt is clean, grainy, and lightly bready, while the fermentation character is pleasantly fruity and free of sulfur.

Taste. Intensely fruity hop flavors mirroring the aroma, dominated by tropical and citrus notes. The malt flavor is low to moderate, providing a soft, bready foundation. Bitterness is moderate but perceived as soft and well-masked by the fuller body. It finishes off-dry and smooth with a lingering, juicy fruit aftertaste and no hop harshness.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, smooth, and plush texture. Carbonation is moderate. There is a light, well-integrated alcohol warmth consistent with its strength, and an absence of astringency.
