Weekend Project

Choose Your Path is a vibrant American IPA that showcases a modern, fruit-forward hop profile driven by heavy additions of Mosaic and Ekuanot. On the nose, intense aromas of tropical papaya and ripe berries from the Mosaic blend seamlessly with the pithy lime and zesty citrus notes of Ekuanot. The palate is a saturated display of these same fruit characters, supported by a clean, lean malt backbone that allows the hop saturation to take center stage. While remaining true to the style, the bitterness is notably smooth and rounded, leading into a crisp, refreshing finish that emphasizes bright fruit character over aggressive resin.

Appearance. Medium gold (SRM 7) with a slight, inviting hop haze. Pours with a thick, persistent white head that leaves delicate lacing on the glass.

Aroma. High intensity hop-forward aroma featuring prominent notes of tropical fruit, blueberry, and papaya from the Mosaic, complemented by zesty lime and a hint of fresh herbs from the Ekuanot. Low, clean grainy malt sweetness provides a subtle base with a clean fermentation profile.

Taste. Initial impression is an explosion of citrus and tropical fruit. Hop flavors of mango, passion fruit, and bright citrus dominate the mid-palate. Low grainy malt character provides a supportive foundation. Bitterness is moderate and well-rounded rather than sharp, flowing into a medium-dry, fruit-laden finish with a lingering hoppy aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, velvety texture. Moderate carbonation provides a gentle prickle on the tongue. Alcohol warmth is very light and well-integrated, with no astringency.
