This non-alcoholic New England IPA delivers an intense sensory experience driven by a punchy hop trio of Nectaron, Mosaic, and Nelson Sauvin. Despite its low alcohol content, it presents a bold profile of tropical fruit, passionfruit, and crushed gooseberry, underscored by a signature dank resinous quality. Nectaron contributes stone fruit vibrance, while Mosaic adds layers of blueberry and earthiness, and Nelson Sauvin provides a sophisticated white wine finish. It pours with a characteristic haze, offering a soft but hoppy palate that balances juicy fruit esters with a clean, supportive malt base typical of the American IPA style.
Appearance. Medium gold (6-8 SRM) with a distinct, opaque haze. Thick, creamy white head with excellent persistence and moderate lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop-forward bouquet. Dominant notes of tropical pineapple, passionfruit, and stone fruit. Complemented by a dank, piney, and berry-like character. Subtle hints of white wine grapes and gooseberry. Clean fermentation with very low, grainy malt presence.
Taste. Immediate impact of tropical fruit and resinous dankness. Flavors of peach, mango, and grapefruit pith are prominent. Mid-palate reveals vinous, mineral qualities. Bitterness is firm and assertive, balanced by a light, bready malt sweetness. Finishes medium-dry with a lingering citrus and hop resin aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a smooth, slightly creamy texture. Carbonation is medium-high, providing a crisp lift. Absence of alcohol warmth, yet possesses enough structure to avoid a watery mouthfeel.
