Appearance. Deep gold to light copper (8-10 SRM). Brilliant clarity with a medium-sized, off-white head showing excellent persistence and intricate lacing.
Aroma. High intensity aroma dominated by resinous pine, dank earthiness, and pungent citrus. Notable grapefruit from Amarillo and herbal spice from Columbus are supported by a low, clean, grainy malt sweetness and a neutral fermentation profile.
Taste. Sharp, hop-forward initial impression. Medium-high flavors of pine, black pepper, and tropical fruit from Ekuanot transition into a supportive toasted malt character. Firm bitterness leads to a dry, crisp finish with a lingering aftertaste of resin and citrus pith.
Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, slightly oily texture. Carbonation is medium-high and lively. Features a very light, well-integrated alcohol warmth and no hop-derived astringency.
