Wander Beyond Brewing

Loveliness presents an intensely decadent take on the American Porter, amplified to imperial proportions. The experience is dominated by a luxurious confectionery profile of rich fudge and dense dark chocolate, underpinned by a robust foundation of roasted coffee. Despite its towering 13.8% ABV, the beer maintains a sophisticated balance where the assertive roast bitterness counters a deep, malty sweetness. Each sip reveals layers of toffee and lightly burnt grain, leading into a significantly warming finish that emphasizes its big character. It is a bold, velvety expression of dark grains, designed for slow contemplation and sensory indulgence.

Appearance. Opaque, very dark brown to near-black (SRM 40+). Displays a thick, creamy tan head with moderate retention and visible oily legs on the glass indicative of its high alcohol content.

Aroma. High intensity roast-forward profile. Dominant notes of freshly roasted coffee and dark chocolate fudge are supported by secondary aromas of molasses and toasted bread. A clean but prominent alcohol presence is noticeable, alongside subtle earthy hop notes and light dark-fruit esters.

Taste. Initial impression is rich and malty with a heavy fudge sweetness. This transitions into moderately strong roasted flavors of baker's chocolate and espresso.
