Appearance. Deep straw to light gold (4-5 SRM). Opaque with a juicy, golden shine. Features a rocky, white, meringue-like head with excellent retention and thick lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent passionfruit, crushed gooseberry, and lime zest. Riwaka and Nelson Sauvin provide a tropical punch, supported by grapefruit and stone fruit notes from Motueka and Wai-iti. Malt character is low, offering a subtle bready, grainy background without any caramel or toast.
Taste. High fruity hop flavor mirroring the aroma with layers of passionfruit, lime, and citrus. The malt flavor is low, providing a neutral, grainy base that allows the Aotearoa hops to shine. Bitterness is low to moderate and notably soft, avoiding any harshness. The finish is off-dry to medium and exceptionally juicy with a lingering tropical fruit aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium body with a soft, smooth, and pillowy texture. Carbonation is moderate. No alcohol warmth is perceived at this strength, and there is a total absence of astringency or harshness.
