This massive Imperial Stout presents a masterful synthesis of dark-roasted intensity and lengthy barrel maturation. Having rested for thirty-two months in Laird’s Apple Brandy barrels, the sensory profile leads with rich espresso, bittersweet chocolate, and deep esters of raisin and prune. The extended boil creates a decadent, viscous malt base of molasses and caramelized sugars, providing a robust canvas for the distinct spirit character. Flavors of spiced apple, vanilla, and charred oak emerge on the palate, harmonizing with a velvety, full-bodied texture. A smooth, vinous warmth lingers on the finish, reflecting the beer's significant strength and refined maturity.

Appearance. Jet black (40+ SRM) and completely opaque. A small, creamy, deep tan head provides moderate retention, leaving oily legs on the glass that signify high viscosity.
