The profile is defined by a vibrant melange of peaches and plums from Messer Fruit Farm, which provide deep stone fruit aromatics, while additions of pears and cherries contribute bright orchard notes and a delicate tartness. Barrel aging imparts a structured oak character that balances the sharp lactic acidity and earthy Brettanomyces funk. This fruited ale finishes exceptionally dry, leaving a lingering impression of rustic tannins and nuanced fruit skins, reflecting a masterful blend of wood, wild microbes, and seasonal produce.
Appearance. Deep gold with distinct orange and salmon-colored highlights; slight haze with a thin, white head that dissipates quickly to a fine collar.
