This American Pale Ale delivers a modern, vibrant sensory profile driven by a bold trio of Mosaic, Enigma, and Columbus hops. The experience opens with a lush aromatic burst of ripe mango and crushed berries from the Mosaic and Enigma, complemented by sharp citrus zest. While the hazy appearance hints at a soft, juicy character, the Columbus hops provide a grounding layer of dank resin and pine. A neutral malt backbone supports these intense hop flavors, leading to a notably sharper-edged finish than typical hazy styles. The result is a clean, refreshing, and hop-forward beer with a sophisticated fruit-and-pine balance.
Appearance. Pale gold (6 SRM) with a persistent, moderately large white head and excellent lacing. Intentionally hazy, bordering on opaque, consistent with modern juicy interpretations.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma dominated by tropical mango, raspberry, and citrus zest. Secondary notes of dank resin and forest pine emerge as it warms. Malt aroma is low and neutral, providing a clean, grainy base that allows the hops to remain the focus.
Taste. Leading with punchy tropical fruit and berry flavors, the palate quickly shifts toward citrus and a resinous depth. The hop bitterness is moderate to high but remains well-integrated. It features a neutral malt flavor without caramel, finishing medium-dry and crisp with a lingering piney and slightly sharp aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium body with a soft, slightly creamy texture. Carbonation is moderate. No perceived alcohol warmth at 4.7% ABV. Finishes clean without any lingering astringency or harshness.
