Strike The Pose is a vibrant West Coast style American IPA that captures the quintessential California spirit with an uncompromising hop focus. This celebratory brew presents a punchy bouquet of resinous pine, grapefruit zest, and subtle tropical stone fruit that leaps from the glass. The palate is defined by a sharp, clean bitterness that cuts through a lean, cracker-like malt backbone, ensuring a crisp and refreshing experience. Showcasing bright clarity and a dry, lingering finish, this beer stays true to its roots by prioritizing hop intensity and aromatic complexity over malt sweetness, resulting in a classic, assertive profile.
Appearance. Deep gold to light amber (8 SRM). Brilliantly clear with a medium-sized, persistent white head that leaves intricate lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent notes of grapefruit, pine resin, and floral undertones. A very low, clean, grainy maltiness supports the hops. Fermentation profile is exceptionally clean with no perceptible esters.
Taste. Initial impression is a burst of citrus peel and resinous hop flavors. Bitterness is firm and assertive, balanced by a low, clean, toasted grain malt character. The finish is dry to medium-dry with a long, hoppy, and pleasantly bitter aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth texture. Carbonation is medium-high, providing a crisp, refreshing bite. A very light, smooth alcohol warmth is present but well-integrated.
