This Belgian Single is a sessionable Table Beer that belies its 2.8% ABV with a thoughtfully enhanced malt profile. It presents a soft, grainy-sweet foundation with light honeyed notes, supporting a vibrant, hazy tropical hop character. The aroma is a complex interplay of pineapple-led hops and spicy-fruity Belgian yeast, throwing off notes of pear and cracked black pepper. On the palate, a firm bitterness balances the delicate bready malt, leading into an exceptionally dry and crisp finish. Effervescent and refreshing, it maintains a lingering yeast-forward spice and hop-driven citrus character long after the swallow.
Appearance. Straw to light gold (3–5 SRM). Hazy clarity as per brewer's intent, with a persistent, billowy white head and characteristic lacing.
Aroma. Medium-high intensity with a prominent tropical hop character. Spicy-floral hop notes blend with Belgian yeast-derived pear and orange esters. Subtle peppery phenols are present over a low, crackery, and grainy malt backdrop.
Taste. Initial light bready and honeyed biscuit malt flavors quickly transition to a firm, hop-forward bitterness. Moderate tropical and citrus hop flavors are balanced by spicy, black pepper phenols. The beer is highly attenuated, resulting in a very dry, crisp finish with a lingering hoppy and spicy aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body that feels smooth despite the low gravity. High carbonation provides a prickly, effervescent sensation. No alcohol warmth or astringency.
