This barrel-aged Baltic Porter presents a masterclass in patient maturation, having spent thirty-three months in Margaux barrels. The resulting profile is exceptionally deep, leading with sophisticated aromas of toasted oak and rich caramel that signal its vinous lineage. On the palate, the beer balances indulgent, earthy roasted malts with the bright, acidic lift of redcurrant, a signature of the French red wine casks. Structural dry tannins from the extended wood contact provide a refined counterpoint to the smooth, warming alcohol. It concludes with a complex, lingering finish where dark fruit esters and subtle wood spice harmonize into a world-class experience.
Appearance. Opaque dark brown with deep ruby highlights; features a thick, persistent tan-colored head with moderate lacing.
