This elevated Grape Ale presents a sophisticated fusion of red wine character and botanical complexity. Brewed with Tinto grape must and aged for several months in Gin barrels from Distillerie du Renard, it offers a deep, vinous profile. The aroma is dominated by dark berry esters and rustic notes of tobacco and leather, intertwined with the sharp, herbal snap of juniper and gin botanicals. At 12% ABV, it carries a bold presence, yet maintains the style’s characteristic dry finish. The palate balances soft Pilsner malt with the tannic structure of red grapes, concluding with a refined, spirit-forward warmth and lingering botanical grace.

Appearance. Deep burgundy to ruby red hue with a light pinkish-white head showing moderate to low retention. Clarity is generally good with a slight oily shimmer reflecting the gin barrel aging.

Aroma. High intensity aromatics featuring dark cherry, plum, and rustic notes of leather and tobacco from the Tinto grapes. These meld with distinct juniper, coriander, and citrus peel from the gin barrels. Low cracker-like Pilsner malt character is supportive and neutral.

Taste. Initial vinous impression of dark berries and stone fruit followed by a botanical mid-palate of juniper and herbal spice. Bitterness is low, allowing grape tannins to provide structure.
