American IPA 7.5 º
Villages Warm Dawn is a bold, classically styled West Coast American IPA that strikes a masterclass balance between fierce hop intensity and high drinkability. A heavy whirlpool charge of Columbus and Citra unleashes a vibrant wave of dank, resinous pine and bright citrus oils. This sensory profile is further amplified on the dry hop, where Chinook and Amarillo contribute deep forest-like woodiness and juicy tangerine notes. Supported by a clean, light caramel malt base, this strong golden ale delivers an assertively bitter punch that finishes dry, crisp, and exceptionally clean, capturing the ultimate spirit of hop-forward craftsmanship.
Appearance. Medium gold with brilliant clarity. Pours with a thick, persistent, off-white head that leaves sticky, dense lacing as it recedes.
Aroma. Intense, punchy hop aroma dominated by citrus peel (grapefruit and tangerine), resinous pine, and a dank, herbal undertone. Low, clean, bready-grainy maltiness sits quietly in the background, supporting the massive hop profile without competing. Fermentation profile is exceptionally clean with no noticeable yeast esters or fusel alcohol.
Taste. High-intensity hop flavors mirroring the aroma: assertive grapefruit, resinous pine needles, and subtle tropical stone fruit. A firm, sharp bitterness (60+ IBU) immediately asserts itself but remains clean and devoid of harshness. Low, clean malt flavor provides a light, bready, slightly toasted backbone. Finishes very dry and crisp with a lingering, clean, resinous bitterness.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light to medium body with a crisp, smooth texture. Moderate to high carbonation enhances the dry finish. A very light, smooth, and well-integrated alcohol warmth is present but subtle, never hot or harsh.
