This English IPA presents a multifaceted sensory profile that bridges international hop traditions with a classic British foundation. A robust malt base of toasted bread and rich caramel provides a sturdy platform for a complex global hop blend sourced from the USA, England, and New Zealand. High-intensity aromas of pine resin and delicate florals mingle with bright fruitiness, reflecting its vibrant, unfiltered character. Appearance. Deep amber to light copper (10–14 SRM). Large, off-white head with excellent persistence and significant lacing. Slight haze is present due to its unfiltered nature, with potential for fine yeast sediment.
Aroma. Moderate to high intensity hop aroma featuring a complex blend of piney resin, floral notes, and hints of citrus. The malt character is supportive and evident, showcasing toasted bread, biscuit, and light caramel sweetness. Low to moderate fruity esters from fermentation.
Taste. The initial impression is a firm hop bitterness balanced by a rich malt backbone. Hop flavors mirror the aroma with floral, spicy, and piney notes. Malt presents as toasted bread and toffee-like caramel. Bitterness is assertive and persistent but never harsh. The finish is medium-dry with a lingering hop character and a clean, supportive malt presence.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a smooth, rounded texture. Moderate to medium-high carbonation provides a crisp edge to the malt weight. A very light, smooth alcohol warmth is present at 6% ABV. Free of hop-derived astringency.
