Ésta influencia germana, trajo consigo costumbres y cultura que se pueden apreciar en la gastronomía y que también a partir del año 1963 se desarrollase la "Fiesta de la Cerveza", costumbre que se lleva a cabo todos los octubres en alemania conocida como Oktoberfest y que se puede disfrutar tambien en Villa General Belgrano como la Oktoberfest Argentina.
Viejo Munich, un restaurante que tiene sus comienzos a principios del siglo XX, fue siempre lugar de fiestas y encuentros sociales, además de ser una parada obligada de viajeros que visitaban el pueblo. Luego de muchos años y por diversas causas fue cambiando de dueños y a mediados de los ’90 cerró sus puertas, y con ello un pedacito de la villa...
Fue entonces, cuando la familia Assadourian, que habia conocido y aprendido la elaboración de cerveza en la Patagonia de la mano de Carlos Balhaj, decide comprar la propiedad y re-inaugurar el estableciento con todos los platos típicos centro-europeos pero con la novedad de hacer su propia cerveza!. Y así fue, un 1º de Octubre de 1999 Don Alejandro Assadourian junto a su esposa e Hijo Diego, habren las puertas de lo que sería una nueva etapa y tradición cervecera.
La puesta en marcha de la fábrica de cerveza fue una tarea que llevó tiempo y demandó viajes, diseño de tanques, maquinarias, etc. La construccion de una cervecería a escala artesanal tenía pocos antecedentes, solo unas cuantas funcionaban en el país. Gracias al empuje y coraje de Don Alejandro y la colaboración de Carlos Bajah de el Bolsón, todo iba tomando forma..
El sueño empezada a ser realidad...las primeras pruebas de lo que sería nuestra Rubia Pilsen daban resultados excelentes!!!.
Así quedaba la Primera Fábrica de Cerveza de Villa General Belgrano!!!.
