Vibrant Forest Brewery Stone Sap
Stone Sap is a luscious Hazy IPA that showcases a vibrant intersection of tropical fruit and resinous depth. The heavy use of oats provides a soft, structural foundation for a saturated hop profile featuring Citra, Simcoe, and Bravo. High-intensity aromas of pineapple, orange, and mango transition into a layered palate of juicy apricot and mandarin. Fermented with Siren Craft Brew’s expressive house yeast, the beer maintains a fruity ester profile that complements the stone fruit character. The experience concludes with a distinctive sappy, piney finish that provides a refreshing counterpoint to the initial tropical sweetness.
Appearance. Light orange with a straw-like glow (5-6 SRM); opaque, uniform haze with a characteristic shine. Features a dense, meringue-like white head with very high retention and significant lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop-forward aroma dominated by tropical mango and pineapple with bright orange citrus. Beneath the fruit lies a neutral, grainy malt presence and a subtle, clean fermentation profile with light fruity esters.
Taste. Initial impression is intensely fruity, featuring apricot, mandarin, and ripe mango. Malt flavor is low to moderate with a bready, oat-driven softness and no caramel notes. Perceived bitterness is moderate and well-masked by the body, leading into a long, sappy, and piney finish that remains smooth rather than harsh.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, silky texture from the high oat content. Moderate carbonation and a light, well-integrated alcohol warmth. Absence of hop astringency or raw starch harshness.

The first brew was a collaboration with Siren Craft - the original amble: We all have heroes in life but it's not very often they come round your house to play on your brew kit. When Siren said they wanted to collaborate on a brew, we got to thinking what we loved about their beer and, after much arguing, we couldn't get past how consistently fantastic their core beers are. After much mumbling, we settled on a juicy IPA fermented on their house yeast. We threw lots of Citra, Simcoe, and Bravo at a very oat-heavy brew and this is the result. Pineapple, orange and mango dominate the aroma whilst juicy apricot, mandarin and ripe mango tackle the palate. Huge sappy flavours takes the lead into a long, piney finish.
