Kick-Start is a rich Oatmeal Stout that delivers an assertive sensory experience driven by freshly roasted Colombian coffee beans. This opaque black ale opens with a powerful aroma of dark roasted malts and intense espresso. On the palate, a bold wave of coffee leads the charge, supported by the decadent flavors of milk chocolate and toasted grain. The inclusion of oats provides a luxuriously smooth, velvety texture that softens the roasted bitterness, leading into a balanced finish. It captures a harmonious blend of earthy coffee depth and nutty malt sweetness, offering a comforting yet high-impact profile true to its name.

Appearance. Opaque black (SRM 40). Features a thick, creamy, persistent tan head with excellent lacing.

Aroma. High intensity coffee-forward aroma with prominent notes of freshly roasted espresso and dark chocolate. A light malty sweetness suggests a coffee-and-cream character, complemented by a subtle nutty oatmeal graininess and low dark fruit esters.

Taste. Initial impression is dominated by full-bodied dark roasted coffee. Middle palate reveals layers of chocolate malt and toasty, earthy grains. Medium bitterness from roasted grains and coffee beans is well-balanced by a residual malty sweetness. The finish is medium-sweet and smooth with a lingering nutty, roasty aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a distinctively silky, velvety, and creamy texture derived from the oats. Moderate carbonation with a very light, well-integrated alcohol warmth.
