This collaboration Gose presents a vibrant, summer-inspired profile defined by an abundance of fresh strawberry puree and bright lemon juice. The aroma is dominated by sun-ripened red berries and a zesty citrus lift, underpinned by a delicate lactic tang and a whisper of herbal coriander. On the palate, a soft, bready wheat and Pilsner malt base provides a canvas for the interplay between tart lemon acidity and succulent strawberry sweetness. A subtle, mouthwatering salinity enhances the fruit expression, leading to a crisp, dry, and highly refreshing finish. It is an effervescent and lively interpretation of the Gose style, designed for easy drinking.
Appearance. Deep pink to light reddish hue (SRM 5-7), with a moderate to full haze from the wheat and fruit solids. Pours with a tall, light pink-tinted head of tight bubbles with moderate retention.
Aroma. Moderate to high intensity. Bright, fresh strawberry notes lead, followed by a sharp, zesty lemon citrus character. Background notes of sourdough bread and a light, spicy coriander are present. Clean lactic sourness is evident, with no hop aroma.
Taste. Initial impression of sharp, refreshing acidity. Medium-low bready malt flavor is quickly overtaken by juicy strawberry and tart lemon juice. Very low bitterness. A noticeable but restrained sea salt character emerges mid-palate, providing a savory balance to the fruit. Finishes very dry and clean with lingering tartness.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with high carbonation that feels effervescent and tingly. The salt addition provides a round, mouthwatering quality, while the acidity ensures a crisp, thinning effect that prevents any heaviness. Very low alcohol warmth.
