Deep Cover is a quintessential Hazy IPA, emphasizing a vibrant sensory interplay of Talus, Idaho 7, and Citra hops. The aroma leads with intense grapefruit and tropical fruit, underscored by a gentle piney resin. On the palate, the hop-forward character remains juicy and bright, supported by a neutral, bready malt base derived from a grist of oats and chit. Vibrant Forest's house yeast provides a clean, subtly estery backdrop that complements the lush fruit profile. Appearance. Pale gold (4 SRM) with an opaque, uniform haze that creates a luminous glow. Topped by a thick, meringue-like white head with exceptional retention and intricate lacing.
Aroma. High intensity aromatics dominated by fresh-squeezed grapefruit, mango, and pineapple. Underlying notes of resinous pine and subtle stone fruit emerge from the Talus and Idaho 7. Taste. Explodes with juicy tropical fruit and citrus flavors. Mid-palate reveals layers of pink grapefruit and soft peach.
