Camoz is a bold and generous Imperial Stout that pays homage to the spirit of the mountains with deep, dark complexity. The sensory profile is defined by an intense foundation of roasted grains, delivering rich notes of espresso coffee, bittersweet chocolate, and dark licorice. This robust malt backbone is interlaced with a distinct ribbon of burnt caramel sweetness. Uniquely, the beer features a vibrant citrusy hop character from late additions of American hops, which provides a bright, resinous counterpoint to the heavy roast. The experience is powerful yet harmonious, offering a warming, bittersweet finish that reflects its alpine inspiration and sturdy construction.
Appearance. Jet black and fully opaque. It pours with a thick, persistent deep tan head that exhibits good retention and leaves significant lacing. High viscosity is apparent in the glass.
