Vetra Kinki is a vibrant American IPA that bridges the gap between classic hop intensity and modern, soft textures. Dominated by an explosive bouquet of Cashmere, Mosaic, and Citra hops, the profile radiates fresh tropical notes of mango, papaya, and ripe strawberry. A base of Pils and Munich malts provides a clean, bready foundation, while the strategic addition of oat and wheat flakes ensures a smooth, velvety mouthfeel. Despite its approachable strength, it maintains a firm hop presence, finishing dry with a lingering citrus zest. The Green Mountain yeast strain contributes a subtle fruity ester layer that perfectly complements the intense, juicy hop character.
Appearance. Pale gold to light amber (4–7 SRM). Features a significant, persistent haze ranging from slight haze to opaque. Topped by a dense, white, creamy head with excellent retention and lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma with prominent tropical fruit notes of mango and papaya from Cashmere, supported by the blueberry and citrus characteristics of Mosaic and Citra. Low bready and grainy maltiness. Clean fermentation profile with very light fruity esters.
Taste. High hop flavor echoing the tropical fruit and berry notes of the aroma. A medium-high bitterness is present but softened by the malt base. Low grainy malt sweetness from the Pils and Munich varieties. Finish is medium-dry and clean with a lingering, resinous, and fruity aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a noticeably smooth, creamy texture derived from the oats and wheat. Moderate carbonation. No alcohol warmth, providing a refreshing and highly drinkable character without harshness.
